If Shantell Martin could design a hen, I think this would be it. Look at those black lines at the ends of each feather. This is truly an artist of a hen.

Here’s a small gallery of Shantell’s work from her website so you see what I mean. She draws lines that turn into shapes (such as faces, people, etc.). Her work is not planned and intuitive—she goes wherever the line takes her—and usually works with black and white. Once Shantell is done with her first line, she steps back and draws in elements that she feels are missing (usually words or phrases). These lines and contrasting colors have become her trademark.
